URBAN INFILL DEVELOPMENT

 LBLA designed the green roof amentity deck for a new multi-family residential infill project located in Newark’s North Ward, in collaboration with Tomasz Bona Architect. The contemporary six-story, 24-unit building includes a 2600 square foot landscaped terrace over a below grade parking garage. Layers of varied groundcover combined with perimeter evergreen shrubs in raised planters provide visual interest while reinforcing a sense of privacy and enclosure. A small gathering area with wave bench offers space for socialization and unstructured play.
